VARIOUS - Belle (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) | 2LP

Ranging from pop-ballad anthems to emotionally-charged instrumentals, the Belle soundtrack features songs and music written and arranged by Taisei Iwasaki, Ludvig Forssell and Yuta Bandoh for the epic anime directed by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Mamoru Hosoda. The vinyl edition of the soundtrack features a dazzling selection of these original songs as performed in the film by Suzu and her virtual character Belle (sung by Kaho Nakamura) as well as additional English versions of four tracks as performed by Kylie McNeill, who portrays Belle in the dubbed version of the film. The film’s main theme song, “U,” was written and performed by revolutionary Japanese band Millennium Parade, led by Daiki Tsuneta. Two of the film’s recurring songs and themes, "Lend Me Your Voice" and "A Million Miles Away" were co-written by Mamoru Hosoda. Oscar-nominated celebrated director Mamoru Hosoda and Studio Chizu, creators of Mirai, Wolf Children, Summer Wars and many more, deliver a fantastic and heartfelt story about growing up in the age of social media. The film was released in Japan shortly after its critically acclaimed world premiere at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival. This double vinyl release is pressed on “Pop Sensation” pink and blue colored vinyl in a gatefold jacket featuring an insert and film stills from the movie.
