When electronic frenzy meets classical lyricism. Thylacine, the "classical future" phenomenon (Libération), unveils eleven unique creations, blending classical and electronic music, accompanied by the Orchestre National des Pays de la Loire and the Maîtrise des Pays de la Loire, under the direction of multi-talented artist Uèle Lamore. After Timeless and its stunning modern reinterpretation of works by classical music figures, the producer continues his exploration and thrives by practicing instrumental music that leads him to feel much closer to the classical universe in this masterful Thylacine (and 74 musicians) where the Angers-born artist successfully reinvents an exercise that has been quite popular in recent years: blending electronic fury with classical orthodoxy. The initial desire was to extend the magic of Timeless, but going much further, and recording with a real orchestra and in live conditions. To develop both the electronic versions of classical pieces, but also the classical versions of some of his own emblematic tracks like Polar or War Dance, Thylacine was joined by conductor, arranger, and producer herself, Uèle Lamore, who transcribed all the scores to be played by the Orchestre National des Pays de la Loire and the Maîtrise des Pays de la Loire. The 74 musicians are them. The astonishing result is the fruit of a live recording in Angers, at the Théâtre du Quai. A significant challenge with multiple bravura pieces such as the breathtaking participation of the exalted young violinist Luka Faulisi on Vivaldi, a totally blockbuster reinterpretation of L'Hiver, from the famous Four Seasons, or the captivating intertwining of world-renowned guitarist Thibault Cauvin who, on the epic Albéniz, delivers an increasingly energetic score as the track progresses. If the now 31-year-old producer has often heard delighted people affirm after his concerts: "I usually don't like electronic music, but this is really different," we can be sure that this album will be an opportunity for a part of his audience (and beyond) to declare "I usually don't like classical music, but this is really different." Oh yes. Thylacine and 74 musicians, the new event album available in double colored vinyl and 3-panel digisleeve CD format.
