REX ORANGE COUNTY - WHO CARES? | LP

“WHO CARES?” is Rex Orange County’s new album. It is Rex’s first musical release since his 2020 EP “Live at Radio City Music Hall”, recorded during his two sold-out concerts in New York, just before his international tour was interrupted due to the pandemic. Indeed, this shortened tour paved the way for this new album. After spending most of 2020 in quarantine at his home in the UK, Rex traveled to Amsterdam to work with Benny Sings, who previously collaborated on the single "Loving Is Easy" (certified platinum in the UK in 2017). What started as simple work sessions turned into an incredibly productive 48-hour residency, prompting the two artists to extend their trip to Amsterdam. The following 10 days of work resulted in Rex Orange County’s fourth album, made in close collaboration with Benny Sings. The result? A light and cheerful album. It also features a collaboration between Rex Orange County and one of his early mentors, Tyler, The Creator, who lays down a verse on "OPEN A WINDOW". This is the first time the two artists have collaborated since Tyler, The Creator's album “Flower Boy” in 2017.
