After writing the two-part Three Musketeers film directed by Martin Bourboulon, Alexandre de la Patellière and Matthieu Delaporte are tackling another classic work by Alexandre Dumas. This time, they are stepping behind the camera with a real visual and musical ambition. The original music, entrusted to Jérôme Rebotier (What's in a Name?, The Best Is Yet to Come), is a central element of the film, featuring powerful and epic orchestral themes (The Treasure) counterbalanced by darker and more introspective compositions (Château d'If). Haydée Dorul's song, a highlight of the film, is full of sensitivity.
