Following the success of his critically acclaimed debut album with Sony, "Human Universe", Hayato Sumino, known worldwide as Cateen, returns with "Chopin Orbit", a strong and emotionally rich concept album that places Frédéric Chopin's music at the heart of his artistic approach. Chopin, Hayato's favorite composer, has always exerted a strong gravitational pull on his musical universe. This connection was revealed to the public during his remarkable performances at the 2021 Chopin Competition and now fully takes flight in "Chopin Orbit". This unique collection features original works by Hayato Sumino, inspired by Chopin's masterpieces, not as simple pastiches, but as creative reinventions: melodies and motifs revisited through the prism of a 21st-century classical artist. The album notably includes Chopin's Polonaise-Fantaisie Op. 61, Nocturne in C sharp minor, Berceuse, and "Raindrop" Prelude, alongside Hayato Sumino's original compositions such as "White Keys" and "Post Rain".
