Future's tenth mixtape, "Beast Mode," created in collaboration with Atlanta producer Zaytoven, was released on January 15, 2015. With only 9 tracks, it concentrates the best of what Future had to offer during a period when, according to Zaytoven, the rapper was producing over 10 tracks a day. While Future was tormented, Beast Mode's heavy and dark production helped him sort through his emotions. The mixtape was well-received by fans and critics alike, with very favorable reviews from Pitchfork, Popmatters, and Metacritic.
