For "Gourou," Yann Gozlan entrusted the original soundtrack to electronic music producer CHLOE. Pressed on limited edition vinyl, this score truly comes into its own and reveals a sound design of great finesse. Initially minimalist and controlled, the music mirrors the rigor and need for mastery of Matt Vasseur, the character played by Pierre Niney. Then, as the story unfolds, the textures fragment, distort, and gain in intensity. Present almost continuously throughout the film, the music accompanies the mental decline, solitude, and psychological tension of the narrative.
