This fall, Bruce Springsteen's "Nebraska" album will be explored with more context and depth than ever before, thanks to the release of a five-disc box set featuring numerous unreleased and previously unknown recordings. "Nebraska '82: Expanded Edition" will be released on October 17th via Sony Music and will include the legendary E Street Band "Electric Nebraska" sessions and solo recordings from the era, as well as a newly filmed full-album performance of "Nebraska" and a remastered version of the original album from 2025. Together, they offer an unprecedented look into the sonic world of this improbable lo-fi masterpiece that became a timeless Springsteen classic. "Nebraska '82: Expanded Edition" is previewed today with a previously unreleased version of "Born in the U.S.A." (originally written at the same time as "Nebraska"), featuring Springsteen accompanied by Max Weinberg and Garry Tallent, in a trio performance from late April 1982.
